Bingo Fundraiser Ticket Pricing: How to Maximize Revenue
Pricing bingo tickets correctly requires balancing accessibility (you want maximum attendance) with profitability (you want to maximize funds raised). Here's how to structure your pricing for a successful fundraiser.
Basic Revenue Formula
Before setting prices, calculate your target:
- Total tickets sold × ticket price = gross revenue
- Gross revenue − prize budget − expenses = net funds raised
Example: 100 players × ₱500 booklet = ₱50,000 gross. With ₱15,000 in prizes and ₱5,000 in expenses, you net ₱30,000 for your cause.
Ticket Package Structures
Per-Round Tickets
Sell individual round tickets at the door. Higher per-round price but lower commitment. Good for drop-in community events where attendance is unpredictable.
- Regular round: ₱50–₱100 per card
- Jackpot Blackout round: ₱150–₱300 per card
Booklets (Recommended)
Pre-sell booklets covering all rounds. Lower per-round price but guaranteed revenue before the event starts.
- Standard booklet (all regular rounds): ₱300–₱500
- VIP booklet (all rounds + reserved seating + extra cards): ₱700–₱1,000
Add-On Revenue Streams
- Extra cards: Sell additional cards per round at ₱50–₱100 each
- Raffle tickets: Run a parallel raffle alongside bingo
- Food and drinks: Sell refreshments for additional income
- Lucky number cards: Sell "lucky" pre-selected cards at a premium
Advance vs Door Sales
Incentivize advance purchases with a 10–15% discount. This guarantees revenue, helps with planning, and reduces door congestion. Announce an advance sales deadline 1 week before the event.
