Bingo Patterns Explained: All 15 Patterns in Funny Bingo

One of the things that makes bingo endlessly replayable is the variety of winning patterns. Instead of always playing for a straight line, you can challenge your players with shapes, letters, and full-card patterns. Funny Bingo comes with 15 built-in patterns you can switch between at any time.

The 15 Patterns at a Glance

1. X-Shape

Two diagonal lines crossing through the center. One of the most popular patterns — not too easy, not too hard. Great for all-ages games.

2. Blackout

Every single square on the card must be marked. This is the longest and most intense bingo pattern — great for when you want a game that lasts. Best used with auto-call mode.

3. Corners

Only the four corner squares need to be marked. Very fast game — often done in just a few calls. Use it as a warm-up round.

4. Letter L

The left column (B) plus the bottom row, forming the letter L. Simple pattern that's easy to track.

5. Letter T

Top row plus the center column, forming an upside-down T. Good for mixed-age groups.

6. Plus Sign

The center row and center column, forming a plus (+) shape. Players focus on the middle of the card.

7. Diamond

A four-point diamond shape in the center of the card. Slightly harder to track but visually satisfying.

8. Small Frame

The inner 3×3 border of the card (excluding the outer edges). Challenging and rarely used — makes for an exciting round.

9. Large Frame

The complete outer border of the card — all 16 edge squares. One of the harder patterns. Blackout-level difficulty without needing to fill the center.

10. Sputnik

The four corners plus the center plus the midpoints of each edge — resembles a satellite shape. Unique and fun for themed nights.

11. Zig Zag

A diagonal zig-zag line across the card. Tricky to track — best for experienced players.

12. Letter H

Both outer columns plus the middle row, forming the letter H. Great for classroom bingo.

13. Chevron

A V-shaped chevron on the card. Fast pattern that's easy to explain to new players.

14. Heart

A heart shape on the card. Perfect for Valentine's Day bingo events or themed parties.

15. Arrow

An upward-pointing arrow. Unique, rarely seen in other apps, and great for keeping things interesting.
