Bingo Auto-Call Mode: When and How to Use It
Funny Bingo's auto-call feature draws and announces a new ball automatically at a set interval — freeing the host to manage the room, assist players, or simply enjoy the game. Here's everything you need to know about using it effectively.
What Auto-Call Does
When enabled, the app draws a new ball and announces it via voice at your chosen interval (3–15 seconds). The master board updates automatically, the history tray shows recent calls, and the ball count increments — all without any host input.
Choosing the Right Speed
- 3–5 seconds: Speed bingo — extremely fast, creates high energy, for experienced players only
- 6–8 seconds: Fast pace — good for experienced groups, fundraisers with many rounds
- 9–12 seconds: Standard pace — comfortable for mixed groups, casual game nights
- 13–15 seconds: Slow pace — best for seniors, children, or players using physical cards
When to Use Auto-Call
- During breaks: Step away briefly without stopping the game
- Large events: Focus on crowd management while the game runs itself
- Regular rounds: Save your energy for announcing winners and managing prizes
- Online sessions: Share your screen on Zoom — auto-call maintains the pace without host fatigue
When to Call Manually
- High-stakes rounds: Manual calling lets you build suspense before each number
- Jackpot rounds: Dramatic pauses between calls heighten the excitement
- With new players: Manual pace gives beginners extra time to find numbers
How to Enable in Funny Bingo
- Set the speed slider to your desired interval
- Click the AUTO button — it changes to "AUTO ON"
